My quilt square is just made up of 4 smaller squares sewed to make a big square. I used an old bed sheet with dogs on it and an old pillowcase from my childhood. I was quite surprised when looking for things to use for my quilt square because I didn’t know I still had those materials. I think this is a great skill learned in class and now I can continue to use sewing in real life. From time to time again, sewing will be used. I like to think that my quilt square reminds me of little me in a bunk bed with my younger brother and those bed sheets and pillowcases being used. I’ve also learned throughout this process it was some good family time being spent. Showing my parents but also learning some new techniques about sewing that I would never have of thought
